Effect:
A deck of cards is shown all around, with the cards in their box. The magician then borrows a cigarette (or uses his own) and puts it against the card box. The cigarette then slowly starts to melt into the box, through all the playing cards inside and then comes out the other end. As soon as the cigarette is pulled out, there is no damage to the box. The magician takes out the cards inside and shows how they are undamaged, and so goes ahead to perform the next trick with the cards.
